The hotel is conveniently located near the food area, making it perfect for those who love to explore local cuisine. It is also in close proximity to Macau's famous tourist sites like Senado Square and the Ruins of St Paul's, allowing guests to easily visit these UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the staff provides excellent service. Guests can also enjoy a delicious breakfast and take in the view of the river and old buildings.

The immediate area around the hotel may not be very appealing, but it's just a short walk to the historic center.

The customer service at Sofitel was incredible. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome and attended to our every need. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of tasty options. Our stay at Sofitel was definitely the highlight of our trip to Macau!

I was amazed when, upon arrival at the hotel, two policemen stopped us and informed us that we were overpaying the taxi driver. Instead of inconveniencing us, the hotel staff should have dealt with the situation. This showed their commitment to guest safety and satisfaction. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel offers good amenities such as a pool and gym, as well as child-friendly entertainment options like the Angry Bird Kid Zone and Racing simulator room.

The hotel lacks transportation options to the airport, requiring guests to either rely on expensive airport transfers or search for taxis in the area.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel had a great location in the center of Macau. It was within walking distance to most tourist spots and the Venetian area. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a clean and spacious room that had a TV in the bathroom and auto curtains. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, both western and Asian dishes, and it was delicious. The free internet was also great, and I appreciated the nice bathroom and the comfortable and big room.

Comfy hotel, walking distance to Senado Square, mixed neighborhood with local restaurants, easy navigation, nice and majestic lobby, grocery store nearby.

The staff were helpful and caring, honeymoon set up, comfortable bed, buffet breakfast with variety of food, good ambiance, free room upgrade.

The view from our room was stunning, with a beautiful backdrop of the city. Being within walking distance of the historic center was a huge advantage, as we were able to explore the local sites easily. the wine list at the hotel's restaurants was surprisingly affordable and offered a great selection.

The service at the hotel's restaurants, especially on the terrace, was lacking attentiveness. the staff seemed to struggle with handling guests, which was frustrating.

This hotel is absolutely luxurious, with exclusive amenities that fulfilled all of my needs. the service was outstanding and the Spa & Wellness Centre offered a range of treatments, including a full body massage and steam room. the outdoor swimming pool was impressive and the sun terrace was perfect for lounging in the sun.

The only issue I experienced was the dinner, which was not as good as expected. the bar and lounge area made up for it with their excellent drinks and atmosphere.

The location of the hotel was great - right in the center with lots of options for food and sightseeing. We also upgraded to the club floor, and the room was spacious and comfortable. the staff we met were courteous and attentive, especially the concierge of the club floor who were really kind and knowledgeable. They made our stay fabulous.

The room was very noisy and we could hear the rooms next to us all night, which made it difficult to get a good night's rest. Additionally, the lifts were very slow, which was quite inconvenient.
